I qualified as a professional Holistic Massage Therapist with an accredited school in Professional Massage Therapy in 2006.
The school is accredited by The Massage Training Institute (MTI). MTI is a National examining body, and a professional association specialising in Holistic Massage Therapy.
I am registered as a Professional Massage Practitioner with MTI and agree to abide by their Code of Ethics.
I am a member of the General Council for Massage Therapy (GCMT) and am fully insured to work as a Holistic Therapist/Tutor.
I started my training with Reiki in 2003, in the the Usui Tradition of Reiki. I am now qualified to teach Reiki and I regularly facilitate Reiki Training/Attuning Workshops.
I trained in an Ancient Ayurvdeic tradition of Indian Head Massage. This system has been practised in India for nearly 4000 years.
My passion and belief in Holistic Therapy provides me with a powerful yet subtle non-verbal context that allows me to support people to work through or simply ‘be with’, any issues, whether these are physical pain or dysfunction of the body’s systems, or emotional, psychological issues.
I am continually exploring and developing my knowledge and as each of us is a unique individual - this could allow for a life times work and more!!
My pleasure of being present with someone in this peaceful and respectful
means of communication is reflected in my work.
