Reiki Healing in Harborne Birmingham

Reiki is a Japanese word. Rei in Japanese means spirit or soul. Ki
means life force, (energy).
Reiki is a very calm and peaceful treatment, which works on many levels,
physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual.
Reiki can create a sense of balance in a person. They may feel calm,
centred, relaxed and often more focused during and after a session.
Some people speak of feeling lighter, more grounded and of experiencing
less headaches and deeper sleep patterns after receiving Reiki.
It can feel incredibly reassuring and sometimes people have insights
into difficult situations or may find the solution to a problem comes
to them, as they can experience an increased sense of clarity.
Reiki can be received lying fully clothed on a couch, sitting on a
chair or almost anywhere!
The practitioner will connect to physical areas of the person by lightly
placing their hands on the body. This will allow Universal Energy to
flow through them and channel to the area of the body it is needed
most.
The Reiki energy will work on the Chakras, beginning to clear any
blockages. Eastern philosophy is that pain and dysfunction are caused
by blockages in the body, therefore affecting the flow of ‘Ki’,
(energy).
The person receiving Reiki will know how this energy will serve them
best. This often occurs on a subconscious/unconscious level. The Reiki
energy can be relied upon to know just where to go and what is needed
without the receiver needing to do or think anything at all – in
fact some people fall into a peaceful sleep during the Treatment.
